A WOMAN who trained a fox and a goose to work alongside each other dropped into Holtspur School to tell pupils about her work in the film industry.
Rona Brown, a feature film animal trainer, showed youngsters a selection of clips from films she had worked on, including The Secret Garden, when she persuaded the fox and goose to forget their differences.
Pupils also heard about her work on Anna and the King, when she travelled to Malaysia for a year to select and work with 23 elephants.
Rona told the pupils aged between five and seven how special pockets are sewn into actors and actresses pockets and filled with treats to encourage the animals to follow them, although it takes months of work before the animals can go on set with the director.
The visit on November 24 was arranged by the FILMCLUB charity, as part of the national incentive to get children discussing films they watch.
