A SERIES of consultation meetings will take place next month to discuss the controversial transfer of inpatient services from Wycombe Hospital (see links below for details).
The first event is in Marlow next week, with further meetings in Buckingham, Iver, Aylesbury, Chesham and High Wycombe.
They will be supplemented by a road show visiting libraries and shopping centres, as well as question-time sessions with senior doctors.
Places at the events need to pre-booked by phoning 01494 552256, or emailing: betterhealthcareinbucks@buckinghamshire.nhs.uk
Dr Geoff Payne, medical director for the NHS Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Cluster, said: “During our consultation phase, we will work hard to reach as many individuals and organisations as possible, to discuss our proposals and hear what people think.
“There are some very committed individuals in our local communities who will want reassurance that what we are suggesting is best for local patients. We need to listen and take account of their views."
Wycombe MP Steve Baker has also urged “everybody who cares about Wycombe Hospital” hospital to take part in the consultation.
You can also take part by filling in section 12 of the consultation document (see link below).

I hope they consider the parking at Stoke, it is abysmal and very expensive
