CHILDREN in South Bucks are learning to walk the catwalk this year, in time for a grand display at next year’s London Fashion Week.
The Future of Fashion group was set-up by couture designer Debbie Wingham, well known for her design of the world’s most expensive black diamond dress.
Ms Wingham launched her group to offer children an opportunity to get involved in all aspects of the fashion world.
After recently completing workshops with children in Beaconsfield and Amersham, the fashionista is soon to offer more children in Beaconsfield and Gerrards Cross the unique chance.
Everyone who completes the workshop will be invited to next year’s London Fashion Week.
During each workshop, children from the age of seven to 16 will design, craft and showcase a number of items, and on their final day they will all give their audience a show by walking down the catwalk.
