New bakery to open in Amersham

A NEW bakery will be serving its first cakes, bread and sandwiches when it opens its doors for the first time on Friday.
Wenzel's opens the latest branch of its chain of stores in Hill Avenue, Amersham, at 9am.
There are already 18 bakeries owned by the firm in the Hertfordshire, Middlesex and west London area.

A pity Amersham can't attract decent independent shops like (even) Chesham can.
Presumably no retailer is prepared to commit to Amersham whilst the whole Sainsbury thing is hanging over it?
