FIREMEN at Beaconsfield Fire Station raised almost £1000 for charity last weekend by washing cars.
Beaconsfield firemen raised £823 on Saturday, March 29 after four hours of car washing.
Raising money for The Fire Fighters Charity, the fire fighters rolled up their sleeves to clean as many cars as possible.
Beaconsfield Fire Station spokesman, Fraser Pearson, said: “All the fire fighters would like to say a big thank you to the support from members of the public and say also how delighted they are with the money raised.
“We were very lucky with the weather, when it has been done in the past it often rains, but the sunny weather obviously brought lots of people out.”
