A SMALL group of students looked at life in Afghanistan during a special school performance.
‘Even if we lose our lives’ was performed by The Beaconsfield School Amnesty Youth Group on Wednesday, July 9.
The short performance focused on the lives and experiences of three women living in Afghanistan.
The school has taken an interest in the ongoing situation in Afghanistan, with troops due to pull out this year.
The schools campaign focuses on ensuring Afghan women can participate in the peace process, their rights are protected and promoted, all violence against women is tackled and human rights defenders are supported.
