RESIDENTS remembered fallen First World War heroes from Beaconsfield last month by finding out more about their lives.
Beaconsfield Society member Kari Dorme and St Marys and All Saints Church Reverend Jeremy Brooks both hosted the event at Beaconsfield Library, on Wednesday, September 24.
Details about troops named on the town’s war memorial and inside the church, in Windsor End, were read out during the presentation.
The event followed a special commemoration of the start of WWI in August, when organisers campaigned to research details of Beaconsfield war heroes.
