TWO men died in a fatal traffic collision in Beaconsfield last night.
At around 10.30pm, two cars, a silver Ford MPV and a silver BMW coupe, were involved in a collision on the A355 Whippas Hill.
The driver and the passenger of the BMW, both men aged in their twenties, died at the scene.
Their next of kin have been informed.
A man and a woman who were travelling in the Ford were taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital by ambulance, both with serious injuries.
Sgt Mark Dunne, from the Joint Operations Unit for Roads Policing, said: “I would like to appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who may have seen the vehicles travelling prior to the collision to speak to the police."
The A355 was closed in both directions between Magpie Lane and Longbottom Lane.
It remained closed for several hours while roads policing officers investigated the circumstances of the collision.
