A late-night Christmas party is going to be held at Revolutions Beaconsfield this Sunday to raise money in the memory of a teenager who died last year.

The Alexander Jansons Foundation was set up in 2013 following the death of the 18-year-old who lived in Penn.

He died suddenly last July from a heart condition called myocarditis, when he was on his way home from a night out.

Parents, Andy and Pam, and brother, Tomas, set up a foundation in his name to raise a minimum of £80,000 a year for the next three years to fund research into the condition.

This weekend they are hoping to boost their fundraising efforts by hosting their “awesome” Christmas party at the Maxwell Road-based nightclub.

The foundation will be launching their very own “The Alexander Cocktail” during the evening with proceeds going to their fundraising target.

There will also be special guests during the course of the evening, including Jordan Reed from MTV reality show The Valleys, while two DJs will also be performing.

Tickets cost £6 and the event on Sunday, December 21, is only for over 18s. To book your place or to find out more information, please visit www.alexanderjansonsfoundation.org/events or www.revolution-bars.co.uk/beaconsfield
