A child, believed to be younger than five, suffered minor injuries after a collision with a car outside a primary school in Beaconsfield this morning.
Paramedics treated the child for possible foot and leg injuries after the collision with a BMW in Maxwell Road at about 8.50am.
A South Central Ambulance Service spokesman has now confirmed the youngster did not need hospital treatment, despite reports from police earlier stating the casualty had been taken to Wexham Park Hospital.
The collision is believed to have happened near St Mary and All Saints Primary School and long delays were reported across the Old Town.
