Traffic and parking were two of the main concerns highlighted by a volunteer group who are looking at what residents want to see change in Beaconsfield over the next decade.

The Vision for Beaconsfield (V4B) group delivered a report at the town council annual general meeting last week ahead of publishing their findings in July.

The group have split their workforce into five sections covering community, traffic and transport, economy, environment along with a 'blue skies' group.

Group chairman Douglas Butterfield said: "The Town Plan will act as a useful benchmark and set a future direction for the town.

"Our aim is to produce recommendations that will inform policy decisions by town, district and county councils and other public services such as those involved in health, fire and policing.

"We hope the high level of engagement in V4B will continue into the delivery phase, with voluntary organisations involved in some elements.

"At the conclusion of this project we will therefore discuss a collaborative way forward with the town council."

Other concerns raised during their talk centred on littering and community services, including the desire of many to have a swimming pool built in the town.
