Colour coming to Bourne End Library
A GROUP of artists will add some colour to the Bourne End Library today when their exhibition comes to the area.
The group of artists, some professional, some leisure painters, meet every Friday at Studley Green to paint portraits from a life. They have no tutor and everyone paints in their own style.
One of the artists, Sarah Luton, said: “There is something fascinating about painting a portrait from life. We don't get a chance to get to know the sitter so the paintings evolve from direct observation.”
You can meet the artists today at Bourne End Library on Friday, March 7, between 11am and 1pm.
