Campaigners will be able to discuss in more detail the controversial development of five areas of land in the district, after a series of public workshops were organised.

Wycombe District Council hopes to further explore issues residents have already raised with the recently released reserve sites.

With housing plans key for sustainable development in south Bucks, Slate Meadow, Gomm Valley and Ashwells, Terriers Farm and Abbey Barn north and south are all going to be on the agenda.

Many councillors and residents reacted angrily when the WDC cabinet members gave developers the given the green light to develop on the areas in the future.

However, in a bid to get the best out of each potential development council workers are hoping members of the public will come forward to have their say.

Consultancy company AR Urbanism will run the workshops, which will be held on Saturdays from 10am to 4.30pm, and WDC say they are hopeful it will allow for much more in-depth discussions than have been achieved in meetings so far.

To register for one of these workshops, please email team@wycombe-reserve-sites.org or phone Riccardo Bobisse on 0203 290 8979.
