Firefighters tackled a kitchen fire at a house in Bourne End this evening.
A fire crew from Beaconsfield raced to the scene in Fieldhead Gardens, Bourne End, at 7.14pm.
The crew used one hose reel and two sets of breathing apparatus to put the fire out.
Bucks Fire and Rescue tweeted kitchen safety advice after the incident, reminding people not to leave cooking unattended, overload plug sockets or put anything metal in the microwave, as well as reminding people to check that plug leads are not torn or damaged.
