A SOUTH Bucks charity celebrated its 15th birthday and said a 'fond farewell' to senior staff member Helena Tym.
Headway South Bucks, a brain injury charity, operates at Bourne End Community Centre and cares for 22 people.
Mrs Tym was a senior coordinator and family support worker at the chairty, who worked at the twice-a-week day centre for more than five years with a team of volunteers.
Barry Peat, a Headway South Bucks trustee, said: “Clients with brain injuries get huge benefits from participating at Headway day centres like ours, as do their carers who get much needed respite.”
Mr Peat said more volunteers are needed to help with fundraising, to join the management committee or to become a trustee.
