THIRTEEN acoustic acts are set to play a music festival on the banks of the River Thames in Bourne End.
The Bounty Pub in Cockmarsh will host 'The Far Corner Festival' to showcase local acoustic talent and raise cash for charity.
The day-long festival will be a first for musicians Dale Revell and Amanda Bishop, who normally run monthly acoustic nights in Maidenhead, but have never organised an event of this scale.
Mr Revell said: “We are trying to raise as much money and awareness as we can for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research as this is a very personal charity for us.”
The festival, on Sunday, September 5, is free entry with music from 12 noon through to 8pm.
The line-up is: Already Blonde, Lisa Kenny, Pineapple Party, Amanda Blue, Matthew Wellard, Fried Squirrel, The Wild Opus Gate, Exile Gilby, Bowlup Bowlback and The Bristol Siberian Husky Dog Racing Team, Tori Tompkins, Luke Roberts, Dale Revell Solo and The Dissenters.
