TV historian David Starkey has been confirmed as one of the guest speakers at this year’s Chalfont St Giles and Jordans Literary Festival.
The presenter will be looking at the 800th anniversary of the signing of the Magna Carta and exploring its influence on Britain today.
Dr Starkey’s talk will take place at the Chalfont St Giles Parish Church at 7.30pm on Saturday, May 30. Signed copies of his most recent book will be available to buy at the event.
Tickets are £16 for adults or £14 for under 18s and are available by contacting the Chalfont St Giles Community Library on 01494 874732.
