Gosh aren't they working so hard, i'm sure Aunty Val will be so pleased with them that she will make a statement saying what a wonderful hardworking team these people are.

Yes - we had the bottom half of our road done last week. The potholes at the other end - some 200 yards or so - remain there. So I guess the team will have to come out again which surely is not cost effective

When are they going to finish the roads in Wycombe. Some are worse than a bad road in Baghdad

I doubt that the repairs will be completed before next winter trashes what is left of our roads.

Does spraying with tar and gravelling over count as 'filling potholes'?

This just ticks a box at the council office. What any normal person who runs to a budget would call false economy. We all know whats going to happen in a matter of no time at all!! Then the council will winge they've no money to do it all again and they wont be able to grit the roads, light the streets etc. They need someone who manages a houehold budget on a tight income holding the purse strings - not people who just juggle numbers!!

Call me cynical but it looks like they are repairing roads in villages and towns which is where their Tory support comes from rather than High Wycombe! Priory Avenue is particularly bad since the snow and is a well used road so needs to be sorted out. These potholes are doing little to improve road safety, rather they are causing cars to swerve to avoid the holes even if that means driving into on-comming traffic.

Good job done on Honor End Lane in Prestwood. It was desperately needed though.
