HOT on the heels of the revolutionary Twenty20 format Cookham Dean Cricket Club is putting a new spin on England's summer sport.
The Whyteladyes Lane outfit is holding its annual Colonel Garratt Cup on Sunday where spectators will witness the unusual spectacle of players lining up for six-a-side games to raise cash for charity Dreamflight.
A range of entertainment including a bouncy castle will be on offer along with food from award winning Cookham curry house Maliks, the event's sponsor, a Pimms tent and a chance to win a much sought after Apple I-Pad.
