WORRIED parents will get their say on how best to tackle what they call an 'unsafe' road tonight.
A public meeting is being held to put varying options on how to slow down drivers on Lower Road, Cookham.
It follows outcry from mums in the area after accidents on the street and an initial public meeting in November.
Officers from the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead will present possible solutions tonight.
These include chicanes, speed bumps and parking restrictions.
Mother-of-two Sharon Price, a personal trainer of Burnt Oak, who created a petition, has been involved in discussions with officers.
She said: “There's clearly a need and desire to slow this road down and people want it to happen.”
The meeting takes place at Cookham Parish Council offices in High Road, Cookham Rise, from 6pm and all members of the public can attend.
