A SALESMAN from Princes Risborough will be doing his best to impress Sir Alan Sugar in the next series of The Apprentice.

Lee McQueen, 30, will be pitting his wits against 15 other contestants in a bid to be hired by the fearsome businessman and earn a six figure salary.

Mr McQueen, the son of a milkman, bought his first house at the age of 18, and has bought another one since for his mother.

He said: "There is no airy fairy stuff with me, I tell it how I see it."

Lee describes himself as a cat which is sometimes purring with affection and other times just biting.

He has worked in the recruitment industry for more than eight years, mainly in IT.

For fun in the office, he enjoys doing a "reverse pterodactyl" which involves him standing on a chair and screeching.

He said he believes Sir Alan to be "a true entrepreneur" and thinks he can learn to be a fantastic businessman working for him.

He will be battling it out in the fourth series of the popular BBC1 show, which is set to begin on Wednesday, March 26.
