Fun run in Marlow

AROUND 2,000 runners will be hitting the streets tomorrow as part of the Marlow 5 street race.

Athletes will be setting off at 9.30 am from Higginson Park on a five mile course that covers the High Street and a dash through the centre of town.

The runners will then make their way out to the A404 roundabout along a route that takes in Marlow Lock and Gossmore.

Runners will then make their way back to Higginson park to complete the race.

Motorists are advised that roads along the course will be closed between 9.30am and 11.00am.

Warning signs have already been posted around Marlow.

Marlow Bridge will also be closed during the race.

Organisers are asking drivers to show consideration if travel is unavoidable, and to obey all instructions given to them by race marshals.
