Bowling Club makeover to attract younger generation
FLACKWELL Heath Bowling Club is receiving a makeover to help the club appeal to a younger generation.
As well as re-painting the exterior of the club house, a new small summer house is also going to be built.
Green keeper and maintenance manager, Ted Bond, said: “We are just trying to keep everything up-to-date; we hope to be here still in 20 years.
“Unfortunately, we don’t have many younger people involved but it would be nice if people got involved.”
