ADDITIONAL playground equipment which is being installed in a park in Loudwater this week, will greatly benefit the whole community, a council chairman has said.

Phase two of Loudwater Park’s redevelopment began recently, with new equipment expected to be in use soon, weather permitting.

The rejuvenation of the park, which Chepping Wycombe Parish Council chairman Katrina Wood described at the heart of the community, is just one leg of park plans for each of the three wards.

Work has already begun in Tylers Green, while the Recreation Ground in Flackwell Heath has also seen a makeover.

However, phase two for the park in Loudwater was commissioned by the council, who hope residents will enjoy the addition.

Cllr Wood said: “It has been a while since park equipment has been replaced and we felt it would greatly benefit the whole community.

“This is the second phase of the change to the park in Loudwater and weather permitting it should hopefully be useable in the next few weeks.

“We felt there was a definite need for the equipment to be replaced and we just hope it is enjoyed by all.”

This is going to be the last phase of changes this year, but Cllr Wood said it is likely there will be further modifications in 2015.
