Council aim to reward community 'superheroes'
“Unmask the superheroes in our area” is the call from South Bucks District Council as they aim to celebrate volunteers within the community.
The council is inviting nominations for the annual Chairman’s Community and Volunteering Awards, which is in its ninth year.
There are five categories for the adult awards and four categories for the young people’s award – for anyone under the age of 21.
SBDC chairman, Councillor Santokh Chhokar, said: “We're very grateful to the hundreds of unsung heroes who give up their time to make a positive difference to individuals and the communities in South Bucks.”
