A defibrillator has been purchased by councillors and police officers in a bid to save lives.
In partnership with Thames Valley Police, Iver Parish Council has paid for the machine, which will be mounted on Iver Police Station, in High Street.
Defibrillators are becoming more common around the country and are usually placed in populated areas for members of the public to help people suffering with heart problems.
The machine will be maintained by the police force, officers have confirmed.
