A 30-year-old man from Hazlemere has been charged with two counts of threatening a person with an offensive weapon in a public place.
Karl Birch, of Lester Grove Corner, Lester Grove, Hazlemere, has been charged in connection with an incident that occurred on Thursday.
It is alleged that a man became verbally abusive and threatened another man with a chisel and a lump hammer outside a property in Penn Road.
Birch was charged with the offences on Thursday, January 29.
He has been bailed until February 13, when he will appear at High Wycombe Magistrates Court.
