This video shows the chilling moment a toddler got her head stuck in a gap in a faulty cot - leaving her dangling by her neck.
The girl, 19-month-old Ophelia Conant, crawled backwards through the gap but ended up getting her head stuck.
Ophelia's terrified mother Louise initially thought she had stopped breathing as a result of becoming trapped, a court heard this week.
Miss Conant had been recording footage captured from a video monitor in order to show her parents, and happened to film the moment Ophelia slipped through the gap.
Phillip Dickens, the director of furniture company Baumhaus Ltd, which supplied the cot, was today given a suspended prison sentence and ordered to pay costs and compensation after pleading guilty to placing an unsafe product on the market.
