LABOUR leader for Wycombe District Council, Cllr Ian Bates, stormed out of the reserve sites cabinet meeting last night stating the meeting was ‘undemocratic’.
The WDC councillor for Totteridge chose not to use the 60 seconds he was provided with to have his say, and instead left the meeting.
After leaving the council chamber he told the Bucks Free Press the reasons behind his decision.
Not only was he disappointed the decision would just be made by the cabinet members of the council but he also felt a one-minute time frame was not enough to debate the decision.
