A MASKED intruder threatened a woman with a knife during a terrifying robbery at a High Wycombe home last week.

At around 4.20pm on Tuesday, November 11, a woman was in a property in Micklefield Road when she heard a smashing noise coming from upstairs.

She went to the upstairs landing when a man appeared from behind the bathroom door and threatened her with knife and demanded her jewellery.

The victim handed over her jewellery and the robber left via the bathroom window.

The offender is described as being over 6ft, slim and wearing black clothes. His face was covered with a black cloth.

The investigating officer in the aggravated burglary, Det Con Nathan Davey from Wycombe Force CID, said: “This was a frightening incident for the victim and fortunately she was not injured.

“This happened during the day and it is highly likely that people will have seen something. I would urge anyone with any information about this incident, no matter how insignificant their information may seem to them, to contact me via 101.

“If anyone saw a man acting suspiciously in this area around the time of the incident, they are urged to get in touch.”
