FIREFIGHTERS spent around two hours battling a blaze in the centre of High Wycombe this evening.
Three fire engines from High Wycombe and one from Beaconsfield attended the fire in Oxford Street, reported at 6.37pm.
The commercial building is believed to be a kebab takeaway.
Crews used two jets, one hose reel, four sets of breathing apparatus and a thermal imaging camera and safely removed two helium cylinders.
Firefighters said they were damping down the blaze by 8pm in preparation to leave the scene.
