Cutlery-deprived residents are being sought by police as they try to reunite stolen property with its rightful owners.

Thames Valley Police have recovered a number of items – including a top-end cutlery set – which may have been stolen from High Wycombe.

Officers are keen to locate the owners of the following items:

- A distinctive Mappin and Webb cutlery set in a wooden box, which has a brass plate which is engraved (pictured).

- A distinctive a black bag with the word ‘Heathrow’ stitched onto the front and a red and blue ‘Barcelona’ mini boxing glove and a small padlock attached to it.

- A black and silver Advent laptop.

- A black IDEX tripod.

The property was recovered in Maidenhead in November, but police believe it may have been stolen from either High Wycombe, Maidenhead, Bracknell.
