Little Joshua Alan Phillips wasted no time in making his grand entrance, catching his parents off guard by arriving 10 days ahead of schedule.
He was born at 7.35am on Thursday, November 27 – a whole half an hour or so after mum and dad made it to Wycombe Hospital.
Healthy and happy, the 7lb 3oz newborn made his first visit to his home in High Wycombe the same day, returning there with proud parents Marie and Neil and meeting his adoring big brother Samuel, four.
Joshua would like to say a big thank you to all the fantastic midwives and staff who helped with his delivery at Wycombe Birth Centre, and who made the experience such a calm and pleasant one for his mum. He could not have imagined a better way to say hello to the world.
