An appeal has been launched against Wycombe District Council’s decision to refuse planning permission to install illuminated signs in a High Wycombe pub.

Enterprise Inns, owners of The Bootlegger, in Amersham Hill, submitted the appeal to the Secretary of State.

In December, an application was refused by the district council for the pub to display three internally illuminated fascia sings, one internally illuminated hanging sign and sever non-illuminated hoarding signs.

An appeal has been made to the Secretary of State against the council’s refusal of planning permission.

The Planning Inspectorate aims to deal with appeals within eight weeks of the appeal start date. No more comments can be submitted in relation to the application.

Anyone who would like to withdraw their representations made on the application should request this to the Planning Inspectorate within four weeks from the start date March 20.

This can be done by emailing teamp14@pins.gsi.gov.uk

When a decision is made it will be published on the Planning Portal.
