Customers at Wycombe Sports Centre will have to use a new car park from next month.

Much of the main car park currently used by centre users will close from Tuesday, May 5 - meaning customers will instead have to use the new coachway park and ride for parking their vehicles.

The new car park will provide more than 100 spaces.

New road signs directing people to the new parking area will be installed, as will signs guiding customers onto a new pedestrian footpath linking the coachway car park to the sports centre.

You will only be able to turn left towards the Handy Cross roundabout to exit the new car park at the coachway park and ride site.

Parking for blue badge holders and drop-off for the crèche and nursery will still be available in the current car park however.

Normal pay and display parking conditions will apply in both car parks.

Wycombe District Council has advised users to allow extra time to park their vehicles and get to the sports centre. The authority added: "We would like to apologise for any inconvenience that the relocation of the car park may cause."
