WSDL has placed an advertisement on major recruitment websites hunting for a project manager for a new 'state-of-the-art' community stadium.

The role advertised on the websites of recruitment agencies Reed and Amida states a 'project manager is required for a 17,500-20,000 capacity state-of-the-art stadium at the heart of a wide-ranging sports village'.

The successful applicant would be based in High Wycombe and would command a salary of between £55,000 and £80,000 per year.

The wage would be entirely paid for by Wycombe Sports Developments Ltd(WSDL).

The project manager would be responsible for moving the stadium plan on to the next stage, including the submission of a planning application.

WSDL's Mike Brooks said: “As the stadium and sports village project moves into the next site specific stages, WSDL is looking to strengthen the team working on the project.

“We are therefore searching for an experienced project manager to join the team and help take the project forward.

“In January we said that over the coming months we will be working hard on designs, further investigative work and business plans to advance the case for Booker.

"This is just the sort of work that a new stadium project manager will do.

“They will also play an integral role in future comprehensive consultation and in time submitting a full planning application on behalf of WSDL for a community stadium and sports village at Booker.”
