THE Bucks Free Press Motorshow has been postponed from this coming weekend as the bad weather continues to take its toll.

It is hoped the show, which was set to run on The Rye in London Road, High Wycombe, will now take place later in the summer.

Organisers of the annual event are currently trying to rearrange the show for the proposed dates of August 25 and 26 - the Bank Holiday weekend. These dates are still to be finalised at time of going to press.

The decision to cancel the show this weekend was taken by Wycombe District Council, which operates event bookings on The Rye.

The council said the motorshow could not proceed because of the wet weather which has pounded the county recently, and the poor conditions forecast over the coming days.

Couldn't the BFP just change to a set of wets .... or are they staying in the office.
