Fred to shave his beard after 20 years in High Wycombe

Fred Graham Fred Graham

FRED Graham hasn't shaved his beard for more than 20 years and he has never had a professional hair cut.

But this will all change at a charity day for Help For Heroes at the Rifle Butts in London Road on September 29.

Fred has volunteered to have his bushy beard shaved off to raise money.

The 45-year-old said: "I am not really looking forward to it. But it will hopefully give people a laugh and earn some money for Help for Heroes."

Tracy Hawes from Hawes Barbers will complete the shave at about 7.30pm.

As well as this there will be a bouncy castle and a BBQ throughout the day, and a darts competition from 5pm.

There will be live music from Finkx, a covers band, at around 9pm.

"Fred to shave his beard after 20 years in High Wycombe"

I wonder what Fred's beard has been doing in High Wycombe all these years? Still, it's good they are now reunited so that he can have a shave. :-)

Well done Fred.
