FAMILIES in Marlow were given a treat yesterday as two miniature ponies were in the High Street to raise money for disable children.

As part of the Phoenix Children’s Foundation, the two petting ponies were in the town centre to help fundraise for children with disabilities.

People of all ages enjoyed the addition of the ponies in the town and many donated to the cause.

Although a big cautious at first, both children aged three and two respectively, were keen to hold and stroke Tia.

Daniel Scoular, Tia’s handler, said: “The day is going really well, people definitely like to come and see the ponies.

“It is also a good opportunity to get the message out about what we do.”
