RESIDENTS at Marlow’s newest care home were treated to a cream tea at one of Marlow’s most iconic riverside locations last week as staff welcomed them to the town.

The team at Cliveden Manor, a huge new 79-flat home on Little Marlow Road joined new residents at the Compleat Angler Hotel as they met one another for the first time before moving in this summer.

Cliveden Manor, which is due to open its doors in July, has dominated the Marlow skyline for over a year with large cranes looming over the three-storey building during its completion.

General manager Stella Putt said: "We’ll be holding more events before we open; it’s a lovely way to get to know our residents and their families, who are also very much part of our Community.

"Many of our residents have chosen to move in with us as a lifestyle choice, retaining their independence whilst enjoying the support we offer."

The new home features 63 ‘assisted living’ apartments and 16 separate flats dedicated to specialist dementia care.
