A TEENAGER from Marlow, who tragically died overseas just days after finishing his A-Level studies has been remembered by his teachers and friends.

James Fifield, 18, was driving a quad bike back to his hotel in Zante in the early hours of Saturday, July 5, when he was involved in a collision.

Since his death, floral and written tributes have been left in front of the Wye Valley School where he attended for seven years.

The school have also flown their flag at half-mast since Monday.

Headteacher Andrea Jacobson said: “James was a beautiful and charming young man. He was kind, thoughtful and respectful.

“He was very witty, always made people laugh, and his engaging personality meant that he always managed to put a smile on the face of everyone he met.”

She added: “He had just completed Year 13 with us and was looking forward to his future beyond The Wye Valley School where he had plans to use his remarkable football coaching skills.

“We are devastated that he has died so tragically at such a young age. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.”

James was named locally yesterday.
