Man who died on building site in Marlow Bottom named
A MAN who died when construction equipment fell on him at a building site in Marlow Bottom last week has been named as Lance Darrell Winder.
The 48-year-old was working on renovating a house on Marlow Bottom Road when it is understood a digger fell on top of him at around 1pm on Wednesday.
Paramedics rushed to the building site when the alarm was raised, but Mr Winder was declared dead at the scene.
An inquest into his death was opened this afternoon, with the cause of death listed as a traumatic head injury.
The tragic incident was last week referred to the Health and Safety Executive, who went to work alongside Thames Valley Police to establish the exact circumstances of what happened.
