A NEW face has taken the helm at a Marlow culinary hotspot, to complete a period of change for a hotel which will soon boast two top eateries.
Michael Lloyd has become head chef at Macdonald Compleat Angler’s Riverside Restaurant, just days after star Indian TV chef Atul Kochhar announced he is taking over the hotel’s other dining room.
The 28-year-old will take on the top job at the recently refurbished, two AA rosette restaurant after stints in top hotels and fine dining restaurants throughout the country.
He said: "I’m currently looking at building for the future through the development of the menu, with the aim of putting the hotel back on the map as offering exceptional and beautifully presented cuisine."
Michael will also take over banqueting and private function duties at the four-star hotel.
Compleat Angler’s other restaurant will reopen as Sindhu by Atul Kochhar early next month, after the Michelin starred chef revealed he has had his eye on the idyllic riverside spot for years.
