WARTIME France came to Marlow for one night only when a popular town club put on a quite a show for members and guests.
Marlow Wine Club took to the stage at Liston Hall for the irreverent comedy ‘Allo ‘Allo - The Musical’ on Saturday, October 18.
And members raised around £700 for Help for Heroes during the performance, set in occupied France during World War Two.
Wine club member Christine Sanders said: "The audience had a really fun evening watching the farce as it unfolded. There were a few gaffs, but that brought even more laughter.
"There were two intervals during which fish and chips were ‘air-dropped’ in; and then dessert was French-style."
Jonathan Slack wrote, choreographed, directed and painted the scenery, including the painting of ‘The Fallen Madonna with the Big Boobies’.
And the military costumes were provided by another member Ray Charrison, who also manufactured or enhanced most of the props.
Marlow Wine Club meets at Liston Hall, Liston Road, Marlow, the first Tuesday of each month. Meetings start at 8pm and finish at 10pm.
