The a glitzy bash was attended by star guests including Masterchef presenter Gregg Wallace and Labour leader Ed Miliband, with Mr Ali being awarded the Buckinghamshire regional prize.

Owner Abdul Rob, who has run the successful eatery for over a decade, praised Mr. Ali for his continuous hard work and dedication.

He said: "It was a really wonderful occasion. I’m really happy for him and for the restaurant.

"We have been open for 14 years and it is the best ever, I’m so pleased for my chef."
