A man arrested in connection with an attempted bank robbery in Marlow last week has been released without charge.
Police confirmed a 32-year-old man from Flackwell Heath arrested following last Tuesday’s failed attempt to take money from a security guard at Lloyds Bank will not be charged.
A fresh appeal has been made for witnesses to the crime on High Street at 9.52am on January 6.
Police swooped on the branch minutes after reports a man had attempted to take money from a security guard inside the premises, with a blue G4S van parked outside.
Lloyds have offered a £25,000 reward for information on the attempted robbery.
Officers have not yet released a description of the suspect, but have urged anyone with information to call 101.
