An exploration in pottery will take place next week as a history group meets for its first get together of the New Year.
Archaeology in Marlow will present ‘Finding the People in the Pottery’, a talk by Lisa Brown, and expert from Oxford Archaeology, next Thursday at 8pm.
The lecture will examine the development of prehistoric pottery and how the way in which its shape and form was influenced by the environment and people who made and used the pottery in their everyday lives.
Liston Hall plays host to the event, which costs £3 for members and £4 for non-members.
