The great and the good of Marlow will assemble at the iconic parish church this weekend for the annual celebration of life in the town.

Marlow Mayor Suzanne Brown will host her second Civic Service at All Saints Church on Sunday as she nears two years in the ceremonial role.

It starts with a procession into the Causeway church, led by dignitaries including the Deputy Lieutenant The Countess Howe, the High Sheriff of Buckinghamshire Joe Barclay, and Marlow's MP Dominic Grieve alongside Cllr Brown.

Last year, Cllr Brown thanked the tireless work of volunteers around town who give up their free time to help others.

And the philanthropic mayor praised the community spirit which saw Marlow through the worst flooding in a generation last winter.

Everyone is welcome to the service, which starts at 3pm.

Cllr Brown will then host a gathering afterwards for refreshments at the Pugin Rooms on St Peter Street.
