Champions in the community will be recognised later this year at a special awards ceremony celebrating their winning efforts.
Wycombe District Council is calling residents to nominate their ‘Community Champions’ who help make the area a better place to live.
The biennial awards ceremony takes place in November and features categories including Community Project of the Year and Volunteer of the Year.
The awards are supported by the Wycombe Partnership, which brings together public, private, voluntary and community sectors.
To be successfully nominated for an award, the person, WDC says the group or project must have contributed to the community with positive results.
All nominees will receive a certificate of recognition and those shortlisted will be invited to attend a ceremony at High Wycombe Town Hall on Tuesday November,10.
