A parent from a Marlow school is hoping to help pupils realise their vision of transforming a learning garden at their school by holding a fundraising market next weekend.
Jo Watson, whose son has started at Danesfield School, is organising a ‘little people’ market on Saturday, April 25 to raise funds to refurbish the reception and year one learning garden.
Ms Watson said: “Back in the new year the children were asked to draw their vision of how they would like the school to evolve.
“The majority of them wanted more time outside in the fresh air as part of their learning.
“Therefore we would like to provide them with an inspiring environment to aid their learning and help them realise their full potential.”
The market will offer new and nearly items such as clothes, toys, pushchairs and playmats for babies and children up to five years.
It runs between 10am and 12pm at Danesfield Primary School, Henley Road, Medmenham, Marlow.
Entry is free, but donations towards the fund will be accepted. For more information email danesfieldlittlepeoplemarket@gmail.com
